LinkieWinkie - What Is It Exactly?

LinkieWinkie - http://www.linkiewinkie.com/ - is a clever little website that can "sense" blogs or websites which are "talking" about it. It will find your link to it and will then put a return link to your webpage where you have mentioned it.

There are only so many links on it so, as new ones are added, these will be rotated faster. Depending upon the link title you choose, people may click on your link and you will get some traffic to your site.

Presumably linkiewinkie is "advertised" solely by links from other sites and blogs - so it's a symbiotic arrangement. Maybe at some point, when more people know about it, links at http://www.linkiewinkie.com/ will be short lived as some kind of exponential growth in linking kicks in. However, that doesn't seem to have happened just yet - so why don't you try it and see if you can get some hits?

In case you've missed it there a new traffic exchange launched onAugust 1st. Nothing unusual about that - traffic exchanges are launched on a pretty regular basis, many of them disappear without a trace after a few weeks.

However, this one does look to be different. The owners are promoting it very heavily and I think that it displays all the signs of being another TS25 or Trafficpods. You can expect to get some good exposure for your lottery business sites over the next few weeks if you signup for this one.

Just click here to join.........

Within just a few hours of launching the traffic was so heavy that they had to upgrade their servers. I recommend that you have a look at this. It's free to join so you have absolutely nothing to lose and - going by the initial signs - the chance to get some good free advertising is there for the taking.
Just in case you have no idea what a traffic exchange is or how it might benefit you then
have a quick look at this article.............

Even if you already have some experience using the exchanges then you may get some new ideas.

Best Regards,

There's no doubt about it - a lottery syndicate is one of the best ways to play the lottery. A quarter of all lottery jackpots are won by syndicates. These are often formed by a group of workmates or friends who club together to increase their odds of winning. This allows the syndicate members to have more entries (the only way to genuinely increase your chances of winning) whilst still controlling the cost.

However, whilst being a member of a lottery syndicate is a good way to play, there can be some drawbacks.

The first, and most obvious, problem is that, if you are lucky enough to win the jackpot, then you will have to share all that lovely prize money with your fellow syndicate members. Depending upon the size of the win and the number of members in your syndicate this may not be a problem for you. However, it could mean that a potentially life changing win ends up getting you a new car instead of allowing you to quit work and travel the world.

The second problem may be that the other syndicate members don't recognise the first problem. The newspapers are full of stories relating the legal battles which ensue when one lottery member claims the money for him or herself. It needn't take out and out dishonesty for a successful lottery syndicate to end up in court. There have been cases where a syndicate member has lost their share of the prize money due to non or late payment of their share of the entry fee. These cases often wind up with legal action being launched.

There can also be problems with tax if no formal agreement is in place. If one member, the organiser more often than not, claims the win and then "gifts" shares of it to other syndicate members, then inheritance tax may be a consideration.

There are guidelines on how to protect yourself legally whilst playing in a lottery syndicate. These can be downloaded from various websites including Camelot's.

Following the guidelines may protect you financially and legally, but they won't help with some of the other problems which can arise when you're in a lottery syndicate. Just collecting the entry money and getting the tickets each week can be a real pain with a large syndicate. There's also the potential for tickets to get lost. Of course, this can happen if you play alone but when it's a winning syndicate ticket that goes missing, tempers can flare and suspicions can be aroused. In extreme cases legal action may ensue.

Lottery Syndicate - Clear Advantages
There are all sorts of benefits to playing the lottery by means of an online syndicate. The odds of winning are better (much better), you never have to worry about forgetting to buy your ticket, you can play for free if you introduce just a few friends etc.
But have you considered the additional benefit that when you win you don't have to remember to claim your winnings. Sounds crazy I know, but every week lottery wins go unclaimed. Sometimes even jackpots are not claimed - check out the amazing story below, originally published on the BBC news website on Thursday 09 March 2006:

£5.4m lottery winner misses out
A jackpot lottery winner from North Lanarkshire has missed out on claiming £5.4m - which will now be given away to good causes.
The winning ticket was bought for the draw on Saturday 10 September and has been unclaimed for six months.
According to lottery operator Camelot, it is the second largest unclaimed prize in the lottery's 11-year history.

The biggest unclaimed prize in the UK to date was a £9m winning ticket bought in Doncaster. Camelot's regional manager Alex McLelland said: "Someone's loss is the good causes' gain."

He said the ticket must have been lost so the person who bought it would probably not know that they had won.

Mr McLelland said that Camelot knew which shop the winning ticket was bought in, but would not reveal its exact location.

"If we announced that we might upset a lot of people in that town or village, and we would not want to do that," he said.

That's incredible isn't it? I really hope that unlucky winner isn't aware of his or her misfortune. And how about the £9M winner who didn't claim?

Lottery Syndicate - The Only Way To Boost Your Chances of Winning

Winning the lottery is a matter of statistics. There are no magic numbers, hot tips or insider information that can help you. It is, quite literally, a numbers game. In fact, if you are using any system other than random selection to choose your numbers then you could be reducing your chances of a big win - but more about that later.
The only way to increase your chances of winning is to play more often - and it's better to buy more tickets for one draw than it is to play once a week over a number of weeks. Why is that?
Consider the simple case of a coin toss. You're going to bet on heads or tails - it doesn't matter which one. What are the odds of winning? One in two of course.
Now suppose you've tossed the coin and lost. If you toss it again and make another bet what are the odds of winning now? Still one in two aren't they.
And so it is when you play the lottery. If you buy one ticket this week and one ticket next week, then your odds of winning are unchanged. However, if you buy two tickets one week and skip playing the next, then your expenditure is the same but your odds of winning are twice as good.
The odds against you are still huge of course. To make a real impact on the odds you would need to buy hundreds, or thousands, of tickets. It's not really feasible for a single player to buy enough tickets to guarantee a win. That's why many people play in a lottery syndicate. It allows them to tip the odds in their favour by playing more numbers but it spreads the cost among more players. It's a reasonable trade off - as long as the syndicate isn't so large that the winnings are being split too many ways, this is a very effective way to play the lottery.
